Emma Hopkins & Simon Motley present:

Exceptional CC Country Club home

About this home's

There is one small private street of historic homes tucked within the grounds of the gorgeous Contra Costa Country Club. You wouldn’t even know it is there, unless you know. And of the dozen or so homes, this one is perched above and within the heritage oaks, with golf course views, and huge entertaining possibilities. This is a rare opportunity to buy into true resort living, yet with easy access to Pleasant Hill’s many amenities.

The beamed living room ceiling and pretty wood floors harken back to the twenties, when both this home and the country club were built, however the thoughtful updates make it perfectly suited to modern living. The star of the show is the expansive back deck that runs the length of the home, looking out to a breathtaking view of trees and the fairway beyond. Adjacent to the deck is a newly renovated party room (or home office if you must), with a giant barn door for indoor-outdoor entertaining. Glass doors from the main floor primary bedroom also open to this deck, for quiet morning coffee that is hard to beat. And not to be overlooked, the newly remodeled kitchen with quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, inviting island, open shelving, walk-in pantry, and original dutch door will be a hub for friends and family.

*3 bedrooms/2.5 baths, all renovated

*Oversized 2-car garage with storage, attached golf cart garage

*Front courtyard with mature plantings

*A minute from country club pool and driving range

Pleasant Hill is home more than a dozen eateries that serve up a range of cuisine. A farmers' market in downtown Pleasant Hill operates Saturday mornings from May to November and offers cooking demonstrations, live music, and fresh-grown produce from more than 25 farmers.

A bustling community center is part of Pleasant Hill’s Recreation and Park District, as are the four parks and two pools. Las Juntas Open Space preserve includes a hiking and biking trail with vista views of Mount Diablo in the distance. Summertime festivals include the Blues & Brews Festival, wine tastings, American Iron Car Show, and the Sunset at the Lake Summer Concert Series. The Iron Horse Regional Trail, which follows the old Southern Pacific Railroad, provides biking, running, and hiking from Pleasanton to Concord.
